Where there is vulnerability in our society there is work to be done. We advocate for one of the most voiceless members of our society - residents living in aging care communities.

Remember when you were the new kid at school. Maybe you didn't have any friends and you didn't know anybody else. Imaging what that's like for a senior citizen transitioning into an aging care facility.

Technology is what keeps us all connected. We've asked our fellow SoulRaphians to send cheerful messages to our seniors living in the aging care facilities we serve.

Imagine if you couldn't pop online at any old time and connect to the outside world, plus you were forced to stay home, and no one could come to see you.⁠

Never before have we encountered a time such as this where technology enables us to overcome an otherwise hopeless situation by maintaining connection and ending isolation. Technology is the tool that keeps us all connected.

Thanks to all of our incredible supporters, we packed 3,500 Christmas Gift boxes on December 14, 2020, for the frontline caretakers at our 50 facility partners!

COVID-19 has struck our nation’s nursing homes with terrifying force. No one group of persons have been more affected than the frail and infirmed elderly in our local nursing homes.

For #GivingTuesday2020, SoulRapha invited our supporters to help us provide smart devices to the disconnected senior members of our community.

In November 2020, Orange County Amazing Grace Ministries underwent a rebranding and changed its name to SoulRapha, which means soul healing.

The U.S. population is aging and therefore the aging care facility resident population with it. Today, there are more than 46 million older adults age 65 and older living in the U.S.; by 2050, that number is expected to grow to almost 90 million.
